Sound control Panel is a audio setting panel to access to troubleshoot and fix audio problem, change volume, add or remove input and output sound devices, turn on and of sound.
Open Sound Control Panel
To open sound control panel on windows 10 or 11, use any of the below method
From Secret Start Menu
- Press Windows +X key
- Click on Settings and and then system
- Click on Sound to open Sound control panel.
From Start Menu
- Click on the Start menu
- And then open the Control Panel.
- Click on the Hardware & Sound option.
- Select the Sound to open Sound Control Panel
Using Windows Settings
- Press the Windows + I keys.
- Click on the System and then Sound to open sound control panel.
From Control panel
- Press the Windows key, type Control Panel, and click on Open.
- Then Set the View by as Category and select Hardware and Sound setting.
- Click Sound to open Sound Control Panel.
Using Run Command
- Press Windows + R keys together to launch the Run dialog box.
- Then type mmsys.cpl and press the Enter key.
From File Explorer
- Press Windows + E keys simultaneously to open File Explorer.
- Go to the following location path from the address bar: Control Panel\Hardware and Sound
Using Settings
- Press Windows + R Key to open Command Prompt
- Type ms-settings:sound and press enter
- Sound Settings will open
